Classical South African safari!
You will arrive at the hunting camp from the airport, after being picked there by your professional hunter. Having offloaded your luggage, you will go to the shooting range to check your rifle. If you have time left, before sunset, you will drive around the hunting area looking for game. Once you have spotted an animal of good quality, you will plan your stalk. Leaving behind the vehicle, your professional hunter will guide you to a position from where you can take a comfortable shot at the animal. After a successful shot, the animal will be positioned for photos, after which it will be taken to the skinning facility for field preparation. You will enjoy a good night’s rest after a sumptuous meal and go out hunting again before sunrise the next morning. The hunting area is very picturesque, with big mountains surrounding the whole area. There are open plains, but also some thick areas, where the kudu live. The vegetation is typical of a semi-desert, with low rainfall. The quality of trophies is good, with well above average size animals taken as a norm. You will not see any fences. There is one fence running all along the crest of the really big mountains, out of sight, but no other visible fences.
The hunting area is big, more than 5000 hectares. You will encounter elephant, rhino and buffalo on the property, which will enhance the real wild Africa experience. There is a wide variety of animals, with many to choose from. Trophy quality is very good and you will have a very exciting hunt, seeing lots of animals, beautiful mountains and plains and hear no motor cars driving by. The closest highway is more than 30 minutes’ drive away. The food is wonderful and we cater to every client’s preference. Prior to your hunt, we will ask you what food and drink you prefer and then we will cater accordingly. South Africa is famous for good wine and as you know all wine and liquor are included in the price. We encourage you to bring along non-hunting companions. They will enjoy the game viewing and beautiful scenery. The closest town has much historical significance, being one of the oldest towns in South Africa, it has a museum detailing a lot about the history of South Africa. There are also more than one National Park within about two hours drive from the hunting area. Rifles available for rent and extra animals can be added at only the trophy fee.
