Join an exciting spring time Black Bear hunt, where nature really wakes up and everything starts moving again after a long winter! So does the Black Bears, the spring is prime time #1! In the spring the bears are hungry and look for the first green grasses to start their digestion after hibernation. The best season for hunting Black Bear is in May, but this outfitter also has harvested beautiful Black Bears during fall season too.
Many areas have been logged, and the spring grass will start in these areas firs, making these areas perfect for hungry bears. You and your guide will spend lots of time watching those logged areas with binoculars as well as looking for tracks and spoor from the ATV. You'll stay at the main lodge, in remote cabins, tent camps or in spike camps, depending on how the hunt plays out, and where the guides have spotted the best Black bears.
No matter your physically capability, or whether you want to hunt by bow or riffle, the guides will adapt, and make your dreams for a great bear hunt in remote and large terrain come true.
Should you need a break from hunting, there are great fishing opportunities in the huge Williston Lake, as well as in the many rivers, creeks and lakes.
